Aporia ("the Platform") is designed with privacy in mind. We collect minimal data and do not sell or share personal information.

What We Collect

Analytics (Vercel Analytics)

We use Vercel Analytics to understand how people use the Platform. This collects:

• Page views and visit duration
• Referrer URL (how you found us)
• Device type and browser (anonymized)
• Country-level geographic data

Vercel Analytics is privacy-focused and does not use cookies or track individual users across sites.

What We Do NOT Collect

• Names, email addresses, or other personal identifiers
• IP addresses (not logged by our application)
• Game results or answers (stored only in your browser)
• Cookies for tracking or advertising

Local Storage

The Platform uses your browser's localStorage to save your streak data and game progress across all Aporia games. This data stays on your device and is never transmitted to our servers. You can clear it at any time through your browser settings.

Third-Party Services

• Vercel — Hosting and analytics (Vercel Privacy Policy)
• Supabase — Database for puzzle data, no user data stored (Supabase Privacy Policy)

Children's Privacy

The Platform is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13.

Changes

We may update this Privacy Policy as needed. Changes will be reflected by the "Last updated" date above.
